Elizabeth had her first solids (banana!) yesterday.  After lots of training with her spoon filled with breast-milk she enthusiastically put the first spoonful of mashed banana in her mouth but was really unimpressed with the flavour.  Unlike the apple from yesterday she was not at all interested in coming back for more.  We dutifully tricked her into a few more spoons worth but all in all I think she managed to get banana everywhere except into her.  Given her enthusiasm for post-it notes we are a little stumped.  Hmm... Guess we try again tomorrow.
