I took the kids to the Children's museum (all by myself!)

 

Elizabeth made a rather complicated looking snowflake entirely by herself with a very small amount of instruction. I was amused that she interacted with the staff in French.

 

Matthew spent more than half an hour playing with the mop, which was about 25 minutes longer than Elizabeth was interested in playing on the boat, but she was just as happy to go off and play without us (I could still see her, of course!)
