Elizabeth is reading about different kinds of book bindings, so she decided she needed to make a popup book.

 

The first page shows who the book is for (Elizabeth, Mary, Brendan, Matthew). It features many smiley faces and x's and o's to show that we are happy and loving. Also she wants everyone to know that she can write some numbers. She is showing a definite preference for backwards numbers these days.

Incidentally, Sofia Emma does not have three eyes. The middle "eye" is supposed to be her nose. Elizabeth was quite insulted to be asked about the third eye. "Honestly, Mom" she said.
