We had breakfast outside for the first time this summer (I guess it HAS been a cold spring!) The kids were really, really happy. We ate lunch and supper outside as well. Matthew is tickled that he is "tall" enough to use a grown-up chair. Lately he's been wanting to sit in big chairs and use big plates and big cutlery. Because he's tall, you know.

Then we took all the kids to the beach. It was super hot so Amelia and I hung out in the shade (need to get a tent!) while Daddy and the kids splashed in the water. Luckily there was a nice breeze so it was quite pleasant.
