Karen and I took Mom to feed the chickadees along with the cousins. We pulled up to the parking lot in sunshine and blue sky but by the time we were on the trail there was a pretty serious snowstorm going. I was glad we weren't driving! Theo was unimpressed. I was worried the birds would not be out but the snow stopped by the time we got to the main clearing and they did not disappoint.

 

My kids hadn't had enough of playing outside so afterwards we went sledding with Dianne and her oldest two. Dianne and I even went down the hill together. We got some impressive air!

 

Then we came home and had a welcome home dinner with Lorianne :)
