The first Saturday of Easter was beautiful. I was tempted to take the kids and check out how the biking is on the closed part of Queen Elizabeth Drive but I figured it would be busy (sounds like it was). Elizabeth was busy working on making a new bo with Daddy. She gave the cast-off part to Matthew (although really it's a better size for Amelia) and is teaching him some bo skills. They also had great fun using it to turn him into a scarecrow.
There was fun on bikes and scooters and plasma cars. The ramp saw some use.
At 5:30pm we stood outside with some of our neighbours and rang our bells as a "check in" and thank you for first responders. The kids find it amusing, especially Michael.
