I think I've mentioned my very expensive and problematic tooth before; site of a large filling as a teen, followed by a failed root canal that was investigated by an endodontist and then a few years later re-done completely by a second endodontist. I was convinced it was cracked for years. About $5000 later it's been one reason we keep looking into dental insurance... Sometimes I joked I wished the tooth would get taken out and be done with it.

 

Anyway, I was eating a chocolate chip and the whole thing cracked in half, sending me to the emergency dentist.
