Epiphany

We usually celebrate Epiphany on the 6th, but Elizabeth had work and today was Epiphany Sunday so we decided to celebrate today instead.

Auntie Janice had found me some gluten free puff pastry at the new GF bakery in town (Gutsies) so I didn’t bother making any. What luxury to be able to just pull it out of the freezer! I quick whipped up the frangipane filling and popped in the fève.

Michael was the king for the first time, to his great delight. Amelia still has never been lucky enough. Matthew was cranky because he was hoping Elizabeth might get the crown and then give it to him.

I remembered to save sparklers so we duly paraded around outside belting out We Three Kings after our litany of the chalking of the doors.
