I know it is nearly two weeks after her birthday, but Elizabeth was away for karate the weekend before her birthday and the weekend after was pretty busy with her stripe test and her friend party, so we decided to dial down the insanity and put things off until mid-March.

 

I was a bit dismayed on Saturday when I realized I hadn't had time to bake a cake, but Elizabeth assured me that she didn't mind a store bought one this year, so I grabbed two from the store - worried that we might not have enough for everyone otherwise. I might have been slightly late picking the girls up from karate, but they didn't mind since it was for a good cause.
