Parenthood - 2012-07-10 Raccoons!

Remember the baby raccoons from the Great Glebe Garage sale? They aren't so little anymore!

Jesse saw them on the garage roof pawing at the window. In his zeal to scare them away, he accidentally set off the house alarm! I came down to help chase away the burglars but though I bounded outside in my pjs yelling "shoo!", the raccoons were obviously not scared of me in the least...

Actually the one looked like it was contemplating jumping towards me. Being less than a metre away, I decided I'd better back off. They gave me and Jesse a good hard look and then slowly ambled away...

One of them left a BIG, muddy footprint at our back door yesterday... I suspect they may have been smelling the traces of green bin or something...!
