I woke up this morning to discover that someone replaced my breasts with large cantaloupes in the night. Matthew is a champion nurser but even his appetite is not sufficient to keep up. I'd wondered if I'd brought on oversupply issues last time with the pumping, but now I'm pretty convinced that abruptly deciding to produce enough milk for triplets is just what I do. The clear benefit to having done this all before is being able to implement coping strategies right away. Out come the warm showers, cold compresses, and the prefolds to absorb constant leakage. Just as well that I'm not going anywhere in public any time soon!
